Loworks

Loworks is a Japanese design firm built in 2004. Below are some illustrations I found from Computer Arts Projects magazine, issue 118.

Tekkon Kinkreet Artwork

Tekkon Kinkreet is an animated film released in 2006 adapted from a manga with the same name. I have never read the manga myself, but I just love the animation artwork! The animation released two artbooks, White side and Black side. Sydney’s Kinokuniya didn’t stock up any last year, so I hunted them down myself during my visit to Japan in October 2008. And when I got back to Sydney, they already have them in stock. My luggage went overweight for nothing. ^^; But I’m still happy! Look at these amazingly intricate artworks:

H Magazine (Feb 07)

For the first post ever, I tried to find few Japanese illustrations by digging through my Japanese magazines at home (I sadly only have 2, as I still can’t really read Japanese now, but I’m learning^^). Not many, I only found these few below from the February 07 edition of H Magazine.
